Hoarding cleanup, handled with care and discretion.
Clearing a hoarded home is hard, emotional work. We do it gently and thoroughly — sorting, removing, cleaning, and restoring the space so it's safe and livable again, without judgment and without drawing attention.
Overview
More than hauling things out — restoring a home.
Hoarding rarely starts as a mess. It builds slowly, often alongside grief, illness, or a hard stretch of life — until a home that once felt normal becomes unsafe to live in. By the time someone calls us, the clutter may be blocking exits, hiding damage, or mixed with spoiled food, waste, or pests. It can feel impossible to know where to begin.
That's what we're for. We work room by room, separating what matters from what doesn't, removing what needs to go, and then deep-cleaning and decontaminating everything underneath — floors, walls, surfaces, and air. The goal is a home that's genuinely safe and livable, not just emptier.
What a hoarding cleanup includes
- Room-by-room sorting, valuables set aside
- Removal & proper disposal of debris
- Biohazard & waste decontamination
- Pest and mold treatment where needed
- Deep cleaning of floors, walls & surfaces
- Odor neutralized at the source
- Discreet, unmarked hauling
- Coordination with family or case workers
Who usually calls us
Most people who reach out aren't the person who hoards — they're someone trying to help: an adult child worried about a parent, a landlord who needs a discreet cleanout, an executor preparing an estate, or a case worker arranging help for a client. If you recognize yourself here, you're not alone, and this is far more common than most people realize.
Discretion is part of the job
Our vehicles are unmarked, our team wears plain clothing, and we never discuss your situation with neighbors or anyone else. As far as anyone outside needs to know, we're just people helping with a home.
Does insurance cover hoarding cleanup?
Often, at least in part. When a hoarding situation involves biohazards — waste, pests, mold, or water damage — many homeowner's policies help cover the cleanup. Coverage varies, so we can't promise what yours will do, but we'll help you understand what to look for and how billing typically works before you commit to anything. Either way, you get a clear estimate up front, and no work starts until you're ready.

Frequently asked
Hoarding cleanup questions.
How much does hoarding cleanup cost?
It depends on the size of the home, how much needs to be removed, and whether biohazards like waste or mold are involved. We give a clear estimate before any work starts, and many situations are partly covered by homeowner's insurance. Call and we'll talk through your specific situation.
Will you throw everything away?
No. We sort carefully and set aside anything valuable or meaningful — documents, photos, keepsakes, cash, jewelry. Nothing important is discarded without your say-so. You stay in control of what stays and what goes.
Do I need to be there during the cleanup?
It's up to you. Some people want to be present for decisions; others find it too difficult and prefer to step away. Either works. We keep you updated and check in before anything irreversible.
Is the cleanup kept private?
Yes. We arrive in unmarked vehicles and plain clothing, and we never discuss the situation with neighbors. Discretion is built into how we work.
How long does a hoarding cleanup take?
A single room might take a day; a whole home with heavy buildup can take several days. After we see the space, we can give you a realistic timeline.
Do you handle the smell, pests, and biohazards too?
Yes. Hoarded homes often come with odor, pests, mold, or human or animal waste. We're equipped to clean, decontaminate, and deodorize — not just haul things out.
What areas do you serve?
We cover the seven-county Twin Cities metro — Hennepin, Ramsey, Dakota, Anoka, Carver, Scott, Washington County — and can usually arrange a same-day or next-day visit.
Ready when you are — no pressure.
Whether you're ready to start or just have questions, call and we'll talk it through. Everything stays private.
